JAXX LIBERTY WALLET · A PRIMER

Understand the wallet.
Understand the responsibility.

Jaxx Liberty Wallet was designed to bring assets into one place, giving users a way to review balances and interact with supported blockchain networks. A wallet does not hold coins; it manages the keys that authorize transactions recorded on those networks. That distinction is central to understanding both convenience and risk.

Jaxx Liberty is a legacy product and is no longer actively supported. Existing users should be cautious with software, unofficial download pages, unsolicited support offers, and any request to reveal a recovery phrase. Never enter secret words into a website or share them with another person. If you are considering moving assets, research current wallet options, confirm that they support networks, and verify destination addresses before sending.

Self-custody can offer control, but it also means you are responsible for protecting access. Keep recovery information private and offline, use trusted devices, and remember that blockchain transfers are irreversible. Check network names and fees before approving a transaction; a token name does not guarantee that two networks are interchangeable. Public blockchains can expose transaction patterns, so consider privacy when sharing addresses. A calm pause, verification, and a distrust of urgency are among the most useful tools any crypto holder can carry.
